The PhD Comprehensive Exams for the Spring Semester of the 2024–2025 Academic Year will be held in accordance with the schedule outlined below:
Candidates Taking the Comprehensive Exam for the First Time
Written Exam
Date: Monday, 12 May 2025
Time: 09:00 – 12:00
Oral Exam (for candidates who pass the written exam)
Date: Monday, 12 May 2025
Time: 14:00 – 18:00
Candidates Taking the Comprehensive Exam for the Second Time
Direct Oral Exam (no written exam required)
Date: Friday, 16 May 2025
Time: 10:00 – 13:00
The oral exams are open to other PhD students and academic audiences.
Exam classroom and the list of candidates will be announced by the department on the day of the exam.
Please make sure to bring your student ID with you on the day of the exam.
